Spend a day in the LAMA studio designing and making your own leather bag, based on two of my signature designs: the Frida and the Callaqui. You’ll start by choosing the shape and style that suits you, then customise the details to make the bag your own. You can change the shape of the flap, choose how it closes, and decide where the strap sits — wearing it as a shoulder bag, belt bag, or somewhere in between. I’ll guide you through the whole process, from cutting and preparing the leather to setting the hardware and assembling your bag. You’ll learn how to work confidently with leather and the tools used throughout the process, while paying attention to the small details that make a finished object feel considered and built to last. You’ll also have the chance to personalise your bag with a cold-stamped word or name before taking it home. No previous leatherworking experience is needed, but you should feel comfortable using a cutter, leather hammer and other workshop tools. This is a hands-on workshop with plenty of time to work carefully through each stage. 6 hours · small group · all materials included
