There are no words to express my grief for the Palestinian people & the powerlessness towards an indifferent western society ruled by capitalism and white supremacy.

In my despair and impotence, I felt compelled to take action and I decided to make these earrings, For Gaza With Love, a Palestinian symbol of solidarity and resistant (and wink to Saint Levant’s song “from Gaza, with love”).

I live in Germany, where right after Oct 7th you were not allowed to display any Palestinian symbols. Palestinian flags and even the traditional Palestinian scarf were not allowed, or you’d risk getting harassed by the police, or possibly arrested, while the Israeli flag keeps being displayed in state owned buildings across the country.

Nowadays, they’ve banned the use of the Arabic language during public protests, and it is completely forbidden to say “from the river to the sea” or even “genocide” for that matter. Freedom of expression and the right to peaceful assembly doesn’t apply when you want to support Palestine. The German government’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian “conflict” is determined to keep on denying even the possibility of war crimes happening, while they keep providing weapons to the terrorist state of Israel.

All profits generated from the sale of these earrings will be donated to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), a reputable organisation dedicated to providing medical and humanitarian aid to children in the Palestinian territories.

The PCRF has a long-standing history of providing essential services to children in need, including medical care, food, and shelter. By supporting this organisation, I hope to contribute to alleviating the suffering of those affected by the conflict.

I know the earrings I created are a very small gesture, however, I believe that even small acts of solidarity can make a difference. By stating your unwavering support, unafraid of the consequences of censorship, you might encourage others to do the same, or even start conversations to raise awareness and shed some truth to those living in the dark.

Palestine will be free.
