Leather Notebook Cover for A5 & A6 Notebooks

A good notebook doesn’t need much. Paper, something to write with, and a cover that makes you want to keep using it.

This leather cover is designed as a long-term home for your favourite notebooks, rather than something you replace every time you fill one. Once you’ve finished a notebook, simply replace it with another and keep the cover in use for years to come.

Designed to fit standard A5 and A6 notebooks, it keeps things simple and functional without adding unnecessary bulk. You can also choose the leather colour and elastic colour, so you can put together a combination that feels like your own. The cover is made from full-grain Italian vegetable-tanned leather. Unlike heavily finished leather, vegetable-tanned leather changes with use: it softens, darkens and develops a patina over time. Small variations and natural marks in the leather are part of the material rather than imperfections. Each cover is made in my Berlin studio in small quantities, using a material chosen for how it ages as much as for how it looks when new. Details
