We work exclusively with Italian vegetable-tanned leather. It’s the most sustainable option we’ve found so far. Unlike chrome-tanned leather, which uses harmful chemicals and has a significant environmental impact, vegetable tanning uses natural plant extracts. Our hides are a byproduct of the meat industry, repurposing material that would otherwise go to waste.
